When we bought this house in October, we knew we wanted to remodel the half bathroom by adding a shower! We’d done a bunch of cosmetic stuff around the house, but this would be our first remodel. The contractor told us it would be a 4 week job (Spoiler Alert: It took 4 months!).
We are happy with how it turned out, though there were some frustrations along the way. But first, let’s talk about the BEAUTIFUL TRANSFORMATION! See the before and after images below.
Note: Some products were gifted to us by brands.
The things we LOVE about the bathroom are the beautiful cement floor tiles from The Builder Depot, along with these awesome hexagon and subway tiles.
The Swiss Madison St. Tropez toilet was something Brant really wanted because it’s elongated, has a dual-flush and is smooth along the sides and therefore very easy to clean.
We found this super cool globe vanity light on Etsy from Lustrous Lumens and chose to get it in brushed nickel.
The final touch were the matte black fixtures from Delta Faucet. You can read about those here.
Ultimately, we love our new bathroom! And are so happy we finally got rid of that crazy chevron design on the wall that came with the house when we bought it haha. It helps so much to have the additional shower. Now on to the kitchen.... :)
Your bathroom looks great! I am very sorry that it took longer as you have planned and that you had to deal with these problems. I love your writing style and can’t wait to read/see more posts about your remodeling.
