It’s taken me a few months to write these posts! The wedding and honeymoon took up a lot of time and energy, but I wanted to share all the details of my awesome bachelorette in Los Cabos, Mexico!
(Future Mrs. Daugherty sash was a gift from Sassy Sash!)
We spent a long weekend at Grand Velas Los Cabos! Brant and I went here for his birthday a couple years ago and we fell in love. It’s an all-inclusive resort, with amazing restaurants and drinks. So I knew I wanted to go back with my favorite gal pals and one of my gay bff’s Brian Dare (who I’ve known since we were 12!).
We stayed in the Royal Suite which had two bedrooms (3 king beds) and a gorgeous living area (see photo). We also had some additional ambassador suites on the same floor. Every room at the resort has gorgeous ocean views, patios and beautiful magenta bougainvillea!
(Lulus sent me a bunch of cute dresses including these two! Here is the link to the white dress. Galadriel is also wearing adorable mauve set from Lulus.)
Of course we had to do some classic “bachelorette” things, like playing Pin the Hose on the Fireman, drinking out of penis straws and taking matching swimsuit photos. We got the suits at Target by the way! (Bride Tribe, Team Bride, Bride)
For me, it was the perfect combination of relaxation and silly times with some of my best friends!!! Since it was over Cinco de Mayo, Sassy Sash sent us some fun tiny sombreros!
On Friday we did a tequila tasting at the resort where we learned all about the different tequilas. We even ate bugs! Then had a delicious meal at Velas10.
On Saturday we spent the day doing a luxury sailing with Cabo Adventures! We absolutely loved being out on the water, seeing the Arch of Cabo San Lucas and singing along to Disney tunes. :)
That evening, Sarah and I decided we should do TWO dinners, one at 6pm and one at 8:30pm so we wouldn’t have to choose between the restaurants haha. So we went to the French restaurant Piaf at 6pm for drinks and appetizers and then the Italian restaurant Lucca at 8:30pm for second dinner... Cause why not?
On Sunday, we relaxed by doing the Water Journey at the Spa before spending the day having drinks (& food) by the pool. My drink of choice the entire trip (and in life in general) -- Casamigos Repisado on ice.
It was the perfect way to spend some time with my besties and celebrate my last days as a Miss. Big thank you to Grand Velas Los Cabos for hosting us and giving me the best bachelorette ever!
